Position: Commercial Officer (Factory)

Responsibilities:

Supervise and ensure assigned tasks are completed by the commercial team Responsible to maintain all commercial activities (e.
g.
issuance of P.
I, L/C open, amendment/ correction, shipment, negotiation, with buyers and sellers, payment, realization, release, etc).
Maintain good liaison with the buyers, suppliers, forwarders, and banks for completing the documentation on time to smooth export and import.
Follow up on the commercial invoice, packing list, and detail-packing list for export.
Prepare Export Bill or import invoice as per Sales Contract or L/C terms, submit to Banks, and negotiate/purchase.
Communicate with the bank to ensure confirmation of Import and Export L/C at a competitive price and timely collection of Proceeds Realization Certificate (PRC).
Negotiate with banks to get a preferential exchange rate for Import and Export.
Handle EPB, Banks & C&F agents, shipping lines, Transport Agents (Truck Company), and other export & import-related organizations.
Always be prepared and updated the Factory Licenses - Tread Licenses, IRC, ERC, etc.
Ensure online shipment booking & documentation for export in a timely fashion.
Make sure proper correspondents with merchandiser, factory, buyer, shipping line, freight forwarder, and other concerned offices accordingly.
Faster the customs process for goods clearing and transportation against Import & Export.
Make sure "Insurance Coverage Note", PI, and all such other documents meet all the formalities and requirements as specified by the banks for L/Cs Maintain duplicate files of each delivery or shipped items and time to time provide an update to the management.
Follow up with banks for receiving notification about the shipment documents, confirm the payment, and get the document released from the bank for clearing goods.
Ensure forwarding copies of important documents to Merchandising, Accounts, and respective departments of the company.
Issue debt or credit note for concern party and update banks.
Follow up banks for each and every transaction of the company and ask vouchers from banks for that transaction.
Understanding of documents retirement & acceptance process for Import.
Keep records of all agreements (i.
e: Purchase Order, Sales Contract, Back to Back, L/C, UD) Check & understand all terms and conditions of contracts to protect the company.
Any commercial related task is given by the management.

Education Requirements:

Masters in any discipline

Additional Qualification:

Admin, Compliance, HR.
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):Jute Manufacturing Experience is needed in Jute Mills.
Proven track records in the HR field with a renowned organization as Asst.
Manager/Manager, HR.
Ability to use technology and analysis tools (Microsoft office & Excel).
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
