Must be capable to monitor & control total area of his store and observe the condition of store house early in the morning to determine the condition of storage items and its safety; Ensure day by day (regular) receiving of fabric/accessories and all other associated materials of the garments; Ensure on time receiving of fabric/accessories and all other materials correctly and securely; Make periodical report immediately to his superior in case of any major discrepancies in storage materials and building; Ensure delivery of right type of items to right place at right time in right quantity and quality for uninterrupted production; Ensure storage of material with proper traceability and identity and whether these are being stored maintaining proper principle of storage; Ensure proper preservation of materials in case of bulk storage for longer period; Ensure proper check of material weekly in order to prevent pilferage and to discourage mishandling of materials; Ensure proper & on time documentation of materials for it's receives and issues through store inventory software. Ensure total logistic support of his department and liaison with higher authority for necessary approval in case of major requirement; Ensure safety of store, placement of sufficient first aid firefighting appliances as per the space entitlement; Look after the welfare of personnel deployed under him to carry out day to day activities; Ensure cleanliness & tidiness of the store area frequently; To perform any other duties as assigned by the head of department / higher authority.
