Job Responsibilities • The candidate will be responsible for making an effective monthly production plan/ advance plan of the orders in consultation and coordination with Marketing and Merchandising, production head, & management team. • • Reviewing production plant with capacity and strength along with ensuring timely shipment through strong production follow-up. • Order status monitoring & regularly scheduled meeting with Merchandising, production & fabrics department for order Planning & proper line allocation of the styles. • Ensure accurate & optimal capacity planning, while ensuring cost reduction & increased profitability. • Always be updated on production status whether it is meeting the production plan or not, if not then make a root cause analysis and give a quick solution for a smooth operation. • Building relationship with merchandising department & Production people (store, cutting, sewing, finishing & printing) for smooth operation. • Manage production planning staff and scheduling of raw material to meet production schedules. • Study and record time and motion, methods, and speed involved in performance of production, maintenance, and other worker operations for such purposes as establishing standard production rates or improving efficiency. • Evaluate staff performance, new operator's skill assessment, ensure floor discipline, identify training needs and manage their career developments. • Responsible for the entire production and IE related functions for the entire operation including knitting, dyeing, and sewing, print and ensure on time shipment; • Prepare & implement line allocation based on business requirement; • Forecast delay situation and future bottle necks and take precaution accordingly; • Plugging orders in productive way to ensure optimum utilization of capacity and maintain live production plans; • Follow up and monitor pre-production events and support to achieve on target time frame. • Create Draft Plan for next month's production as per Master plan; • Maintain order recap for various buyer as per projection and get confirmation from buyer. • Training production staff on efficiency • Wastage control • Prepare regular loss time • Prepare regular SMV calculation • Calculate WIP of lines • Method Study + Method development • Motion Study • Monitoring and optimize machine Productivity • Update daily production by "plan vs actual production" and informing concerns about meeting goals of the production plan.
Educational Requirements • Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Industrial Eng & Production, Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Textile Technology • Skills Required: Industrial Engineering, Production Management (Sewing)
