Position: Deputy Manager (Accounts & Finance)

Vacancy: 01

Responsibilities:

  • Monthly closing and preparation of financial statements.
  • Overall responsibilities of 'management reporting' covering all financial aspects.
  • Maintaining and reconciling of accounting data along with related register and schedules and confirm periodically.
  • Active participation in implementing ERP regarding procurement, production, consumption, inventory, wastage etc. In order to create accountability and transparency in accounting.
  • Project appraisal, feasibility study, capital budgeting and review, credit management, investment and asset management.
  • Supervising and monitor overall accounting and finance functions needed for various regulatory authorities and as per the requirement of the management.
  • Liaison with the factory staff for collecting of accounting information for steering regular work smoothly.
  • Liaison with the higher authority as well as the management for taking any decision, change, rectification of the accounts of the group.
  • Supervise and assist subordinates and their daily works so that, they able to perform their work smoothly.
  • Administration of payroll, accounts receivable & accounts payable.
  • Calculation, deduction and preparation of report on TAX & VAT at source, by closely working with the TAX & VAT department.
  • Resolve various issues with bank such as cleared check differences, bank fee anomalies, targeted balance calculation etc.
  • Update documents and filing of important records and agreements.
  • Develop and implementations of accounting policies, procedure and controls in accordance with applicable rule, regulation, standards, practices and internal policy.
  • Any other jobs assigned by the reporting authority from time to time.

Education Requirements:

Masters of Commerce (M. Com) in Accounting. Part qualification from ICAB or ICMAB will get preference. Chartered Accountancy Course Completion (CC).

Additional Qualification:

  • Age at least 35 years
  • Capable of working under pressure.
  • Should have excellent ability in written English.
  • Sound Knowledge of TAX & VAT law.
  • Advanced skills in MS Word/ MS Excel/ Office applications.
  • Should be well conversant with ERP (specially ORACLE EBS).
  • Work Place: Corporate Office, Agrabad, Chattogram.
