Position: Purchase Officer

Vacancy: 01

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting product research and sourcing new suppliers and vendors.
  • To check requisition daily and buy the product as per requisition.
  • Performing inventory inspections and reordering supplies and stock as necessary.
  • Must be procured at the right time, in the right quantity, and of the right quantity.
  • Collect competitive price from suppliers & prepare a comparative statement for management decision.
  • Updating and maintaining records of all orders, payments, and received stock collecting quotations, prepare comparative analysis Inspection and acceptance of goods, verification of invoices and submission of payment requests.
  • Coordinate with general stores for delivery of goods & receipt of the requisition, documentation on a timely basis.
  • Responsible for daily procurement in a timely and cost-effective way.
  • Maintain records of goods ordered and received
  • Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analysis
  • Maintain records of goods ordered and received
  • Control purchasing department budgets.
  • Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the management

Education Requirements:

Masters degree in any discipline. Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Supply Chain Management

Additional Qualification:

  • Age 30 to 35 years
  • Only males are allowed to apply
  • Previous experience in a similar position.
  • Good written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
  • Great organizational and planning skills.
  • The ability to identify market trends and make decisions in a high-stress environment. The ability to follow client specifications.
  • Sharp, intelligent with an attractive personality
  • Hardworking and Target oriented with a winning attitude
  • Excellent networking and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet the deadline
  • Analytical ability and Reporting skill
  • Convincing power and negotiation
