Position: Sr. Manager / AGM

Responsibilities:

  • Planning, execution and maintain purchase department as per guidance of Senior Management
  • To go to the market for buying the product from actual suppliers and at an exact price.
  • To check requisition daily and buy the product as per requisition.
  • To ensure the specification, quality and quantity of the product according to a material requisition.
  • To ensure on-time delivery of all material as per requisition.
  • Maintain smooth supply, delivery system for the Group
  • Up to date stock entry & stock out, product reference update & preparing purchase policy.
  • Purchase credit arrangement and payment management
  • To keep liaison with local and foreign suppliers
  • To work on sourcing, vendor development, conduct negotiation meeting for purchases quality materials with competitive price
  • To finalize Procurement Plan within estimated time frame
  • Ensure the materials are bought at the most competitive price and delivered on time for production
  • Establish strategic relationships with key suppliers who are aligned with the company's needs
  • Manage and control all the company's external suppliers with particular emphasis on the purchase of materials for production

Education Requirements:

Graduation/ Masters/ Post Graduation in any discipline

Additional Qualification:

  • Age at least 33 years
  • The candidate must have thorough knowledge and expertise on procurement of Rice, Flour, Pulse, Edible oil, Spices, paper, Electronics, cookware's others commodity items.
  • He should have sound commercial knowledge on importing of goods & export documentations.
  • Excellent communications and negotiation skills with suppliers and internal customers
  • Proficient in use of MS Office applications (Words, Excel, Access, etc.) and other Software
  • Hardworking and meticulous with positive attitude
  • Able to work well under stress in a fast paced environment
  • Tendency to market study frequently
  • Ability to bargain for maximum price discount
  • Ability to physical verification of quality of materials
