Position: Head of Civil Engineer - Sterling Group

Vacancy: 01

Responsibilities:

  • Handling the ACCORD/ALLIANCE Audit on Structural &Fire Safety issues .
  • Detailed Engineering Assessment (DEA) report preparation (with the assistance of design consultant) and presentation giving.
  • Preparing the corrective action plans (CAP)
  • Top supervision of new/running factory building projects, ie -
  • Feasibility study of the projects
  • Bidding tender for different contractors and supervise them (Civil, electrical, Plumbing, paint, tiles, Thai glass)
  • Selecting Consultants (Architects, Civil & MEP Engineers)
  • Checking the material quality and regularly maintain BUET test reports
  • BOQ Checking
  • Describing drawings to the site engineers & top supervision of project management
  • Project schedule planning (Microsoft Project)
  • Contacting with the consultants and cross checking the designs etc.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Civil Engineering Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology. Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. Khulna University of Engineering and Technology. Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology. Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) students will get preference

Additional Qualification:

  • Age 27 to 40 years
  • Only males are allowed to apply
  • The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
  • 3+ years in project management or implementation role.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to Work Under Pressure.
  • Accord Alliance
  • Auto-Cad knowledge is required.
  • Good English and Bangla Communication skill is required
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft office package (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required.
