Position: Senior Officer (Compliance]

Vacancy: 01

Responsibilities:

  • Regular monitoring of all compliance status in line with client requirements adhering to relevant laws of the country and international standards.
  • Responsible to make and implement compliance policies as per local law & different brand code of conduct.
  • To follow-up & to ensure timely implementation of all CAP given.
  • Dealing with all buyers representatives & auditors and meet their relevant requirement to ensure zero NCR
  • Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings.
  • Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees.
  • Communicate with fire & civil defense department, Environment department government office, and police station & labor department.
  • Educate and train employees on compliance standards and requirements.
  • To lead a team and make them same skilled, to identify and solve any sort of problem.
  • Ensure maintenance of all relevant documents and update them continuously.
  • Prepare appropriate training material and impart training for induction as well as periodical training on safety including fire drills and all ethical and social issues and maintain records thereof.
  • Organize all relevant meeting like EHS., on a regular basis - monthly or as required. Independently handle all product safety related issues.

Education Requirements:

Honors/ Masters in relevant subject Professional Certificate: SA 8000 (Lead Auditor on Social Compliance)

Additional Qualification:

  • 8 to 10 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
    Compliance
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Sweater Industry
