Responsibilities:

• To manage and develop team based on team evaluation of SOP and KPI. Be able to lead merchandising team. Activities to ensure customer satisfaction and on time delivery, Provide advice and suggestions on product design to meet customers buying objectives.
• To develop strategies using various marketing techniques to increase product sales & subsequent repatriation of export proceed on time. Also to use marketing and visual techniques to ensure customer attraction.
• To ensure the Marketing & Merchandising teams fully implement the approved SOP following best practice to manage risk in the project cycle from factory visit through to shipment. Ensure the teams have adequate resources to efficiently fulfill their objectives, with adequate systems and processes in place to meet expectations. To manage teams' performance against key targets including cost savings, capacity planning, shipments and operating costs against budget as well as range of operational metrics. (On time delivery plus shipment, buyers score card management inspection pass rate, customer returns and profitability etc.)
• Should be able to develop business with new market like Japan, Russia, Korea and South Americans countries.
• Should be able to work with Europe, USA corporate buyers.
• Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative to gear up operational excellence.
• Should be role played as Team Player/Leader of a Marketing & Merchandising Team.
• Collaborating with buyers, suppliers, distributors and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities and time-scales. Participate in buyers meeting and customers buying meeting.
• To build up constructive customer relationships with team & channel partners to build pipeline and close deals. Establish excellent communication channels with stakeholders to identify profit opportunities through direct sourcing and meet their product priorities source of robust supply base when required.
• To negotiate about the product price with the buyer and confirm the sustainable pricing. Lead and coach the team in negotiating costs, lead times and MOQs to deliver savings and operating efficiencies.
• Overseeing and do costing and pricing of the garments and negotiations with the buyers to reach the final acceptable prices.
• Overseeing the update of production status, sampling, lab dips information being provided by the merchandisers to the buyers.
• Monitoring the status of approval/ per-production/ photo samples/delivery.
• The Candidate must have sound knowledge on all types of yarn, trims and accessories.
• Before going to the garment production, must in-house all the necessary materials. Ensure on time material collection to respect the shipment date
• To meet the objectives and targets of the Marketing & Merchandising department.
• Have to strong ability on Supply chain/Backward linkage management
• Must have the ability to understand current market trends and buying psychology.
• Must be creative and have a strong understanding of the products.
• Proper execution of orders according to 'Time and Action Plan' on regular basis to ensure on time shipment with right quality and quantity.
• Follow up with planning/production/commercial team & ensuring shipment move on time.
• Should be capable of new business development & promotion with fresh Buyers.
• Should be highly motivated and willing to take challenges.
• Should have good connection with the buyers.
• Any other assignment given by the top management.

Education Requirements:

• Master in any discipline.
• Graduate in Textile in relevant field will be given preference.
