Determine cost estimate during the design and development process
Assess cost effectiveness of materials and track actual costs relative to budget and report status on a regular basis to ensure costs are in line with forecasts
Monitor and review data and information to detect or assess efficiency
Investigate and identify cost reduction opportunities through cost analysis
Prepare cost and expenditure statements, reports and other necessary documentation at regular intervals for further review
Support all activities in cost estimation and take a proactive approach towards improvements
Provide cost estimates during change process and advice on cost impact of changes
Monitor contractor bills and the price and quantity of purchased materials used in the projects
Conduct variance analysis between actual cost and BOQ cost on ongoing projects and completed projects
Prepare cost reduction plan in case of exceeding budget
Education Requirements:
Bachelor degree in any discipline
Preferred Professional Certification: CMA (partly qualified)
Skills Required: Cost & Management Accounting, Microsoft Excel
