Position: Manager (Purchase & Procurement)

Responsibilities:

• Must have Garments related Work experience.
• Have vast knowledge about garments Accessories for Procurement.
• Discovering profitable suppliers and initiate procurement partnerships
• Negotiating with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
• Excellent knowledge of commercial department relating to purchasing, LC terms, early discounting.
• Excellent time management skills and supply chain management
• Create structure in place for merchandisers for booking fabrics and accessories for on time sampling and shipment
• Source and Manage high volume of Fabric and Accessories.
• Coordinate with Marketing and Merchandising team.
• Responsible for Development, implementation of Supply chain policy, procedures, inventory control & distribution to avoid costly delays and lost opportunities.
• Negotiate with suppliers to minimize cost, lead time, and ensure a quality product and time supplies.
• Price negotiation, renegotiation with suppliers in favor of the company.
• Ensure available material for smooth production & operational activates
• Strategist the supply chain function to ensure cost optimization, risk management, material movement
• Promote Zero- Tolerance for violation of procurement polices & procedures
• Perform Market survey in order to develop alternative suppliers for price competitiveness.
• Co-ordinate with entire team as well as related development like utility, maintenance, store, production, accounts and audit.
• Coordination & Update with Merchandising, Planning, Commercial , Accounts & Finance, Textile , RMG & Others for Supply Chain activities.
• Should have good knowledge in Latter of Credit, Import policy, Bond License & Custom Vat/Tax
• Effective ERP Implementation for System improvement & Standardization to ensure transparency & Cost Effectiveness for any procurement.
• Sourcing, Visiting & Evaluate of Potential Suppliers in Local or Foreign.
• Any Task Assign by Management.

Education Requirements:

• Masters degree in any discipline
• MBA in SCM / Operation Management from any reputed university will get preference
• Preferred Professional Certification: Having a Professional Certificate in PGDSCM will be added extra advantage.
• Skills Required: Excellency in Microsoft Excel, Familiar with SAP ERP system

• IT proficiency - advance level skill is a MUST in MS Office package (Specially, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook).
• Should be proactive and dynamic, ability to work hard efficiently.
• Ability to multi task and remain organized, meet deadlines.
