Position: Purchase Officer

Vacancy: Not Specific

Responsibilities:

  • Must have Garments related work experience.
  • Have adequate knowledge about Electrical equipment's Purchasing.
  • Should have experience in procurement and Electrical purchase.
  • Research potential vendors.
  • Check requisition daily and buy the product as per requisition.
  • Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases.
  • Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers.
  • Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing.
  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
  • Review quality of purchased products.
  • Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases.
  • Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices.
  • Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses.
  • Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage.
  • Attend trade shows and exhibitions to stay up-to-date with industry trends.
  • Have a sound knowledge on SAP.
  • Any other task is given by the management.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor/ Master degree in any discipline. (MBA is preferable)
  • Preferred Professional Certification: Candidate having Post Graduation Diploma in Supply Chain Management will get extra privilege.
  • Skills Required: Analytical ability, Excellency in Microsoft Excel, Supply Chain

  • Good communication in English (written/verbal) & presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical, technical & leadership ability and work as a strategic thinker.
  • Positive work ethics and result oriented for assigned responsibilities.
  • Self-driven to work under pressure and self-motivated to take new initiatives.
  • Ability to lead the team and appraise & motivate the team members.
  • Ability to achieve the target within short lead time.
