Position: Assistant Manager - Finishing (Knit Garments)

Vacancy: 01

Responsibilities:

  • Participate to PP meeting to identify the risk of all new wash styles.
  • Ensure all garments receiving to finishing according to plan.
  • Ensure to start sewing as per Plan Sewing Date (PSD).
  • Ensure wash garments sending & receiving as per the plan.
  • Make sure all built-in Quality processes are performing according to ISO:QMS.
  • Ensure quality, production and on time shipment as per plan.
  • Follow up hourly production to make sure operation is running as per plan.
  • Make sure to offer pre-final, Final & Customer inspection as per plan.
  • Ensure RM utilization is as per plan.
  • Monitor the DHU report to identify the continues defects and work with respective Production team get the collectively.
  • Perform daily GEMBA walk & conduct process audit.
  • Report any process deviation and take corrective action with team.
  • Perform plan problem solving & continuous improvement session weekly with the Team members.
  • Work with respective cross functional teams on corrective actions of any failure found it above processes.
  • If any discrepancies happen need to inform Senior Persons of Production to get action.
  • Buying office Inline inspection findings should discuss with cross functional teams to get the corrective actions.
  • Make sure there are no unplan OT due to operations issues.
  • Lead, motivate, train and appraise subordinates to accomplish business goal.
  • Follow up the Executives & Supervisors Daily routine & their work actions.
  • Ensure compliance with Epyllion Group policies, Buyer requirements and laws of the Land.
  • Ensure Functional reporting, goal alignment & performance evaluation process (Monthly touch base).
  • Drive KAIZAN culture
  • Maintain required MIS report. (Management Information System)

Education Requirements:

Masters/ Graduate from Textile Engineering/IPE/AMT from any reputed university

Additional Qualification:

  • Age 31 to 33 years
  • The applicant must have working experience in finishing as executive at least 2 years with large knit garments industry.
  • Good communication (written/verbal) & presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical & leadership ability and work as a strategic thinker.
  • Positive work ethics and analytical ability.
  • Strong technical and time management skill.
  • Self-driven to work under pressure and self-motivated to take new initiatives.
  • Ability to lead the team and appraise & motivate the team members.
  • Ability to achieve the target within short lead time.
