Position: Manager - HR & Compliance

Responsibilities:

• Regular monitoring of all compliance status in line with buyer's requirements adhering to relevant laws of the country and international standards.
• To ensure Legal Compliance/Code of Conduct, Fire, Building, Electrical, Health & Safety issues etc.
• Should have Sound Knowledge on Process & Procedure of SEDEX, WALMART, HIGG, NEXT, BSCI, ACCORD, ALLIANCE, ISO, FSC, GRS and other certification programs and maintenance thereof.
• Support 3rd party factory audits as per buyers' requirements.
• Handling disciplinary matters, grievance and counseling, improve employee motivation & worker engagement etc.
• Handling Leave Management, performance appraisal, improves worker migration, reduce absenteeism and enhance employees' motivation.
• Develop, implement and manage staff performance and professional development plan that aligns with the mission, vision and objectives of the company.
• Effective handling and responsible for all statutory compliances under Labor Law.
• Supervising the day-to-day operations of the administrative department and staff members that include daily attendance, leave, safety, recruitment, Legal & Corporate affairs.
• Developing, reviewing, and improving administrative systems, policies, and procedures.
• Proper maintaining of the company Provident Fund for the employees and reporting to management every month of the up-to-date status.
• Organize employee training programs as per training need.
• Conduct manpower planning and forecast in line with business growth.
• Monitor the security guards and intelligence to maintain the strict discipline at the factory.
• Administer recruitment and selection programs and processes in the line with the company's policy and procedure
• Ensure maintenance of effective HR information system in the factory.
• Supervise Payroll, Final settlement of existing employees.
• To manage the compliance functions of the factory.
• Develop & Update HR Polices & Procedures for Manufacturing factory to ensure efficient and effective operation.
• Implementation of KPIs of all positions and managing employees' annual performance reviews.
• Maintain provident fund files for all employees.
• Find out all Non-compliance issues & take necessary step to solve them
• Prepare a Corrective Action Plan (CAP) with target date line against audit reports for Buyers
• Keep constant contact with the local authorities, Government and Semi Government organization for any government rules and regulation update.
• Any other job assigned by the management as and when required.

Education Requirements:

• MBA/Masters in Human Resource Management from any reputed university.
• Post-Graduation Diploma in HRM or Social Compliance will get Preference

Additional Qualification:

• Age 32 to 40 years

• Skills Required: Bangladesh Labor Law, Change Management Initiatives, Expatriates Management, Organizational Development, People and Culture Management
• The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Factory, HR, Administration and Compliance
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Garments Accessories, Printing and packaging
• Proven working experience in factory HR including team leading.
• Sound knowledge on policy and procedure
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skill.
• A good command of communication skills in Bengali and English is very essential.
• The applicant should have Sound knowledge on Human Resource Management, BLL- 2006, Bangladesh Labor Rules 2015 and other industrial and environmental laws, safety rules and regulations.
• ERP software experience
• Ability to work under pressure.
