Obtain and institute compliance standards and carryout regular assessment and gap analysis for individual buyers' compliance requirements.
Interact with factory floor personnel to prepare them for compliance audits and make them aware on maintaining better compliance standards.
Conduct and assist Compliance Manager regarding all types of audit/visit and co-ordinate with the concern department/units to find out non-compliance issues and assists Compliance Manager for taking corrective and keep the documents properly.
Advise and brief workers on use of PPE, Machine guarding, Sanitation, OSHA, Fire Safety, maternity leave for female, leave with wages and leave privileges and working and living conditions of the workers and promote their general well-being.
Monitor Fire Fighter, First aid box, Rescuer, First aider, fire drill, Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) & Chemical user training, orientation program and keep the record properly.
Ensure proper documentation regarding Compliance of the factory.
Arrange routine welfare meetings and Training, such as: Participation Committee, Safety Committee, Grievance Committee, Anti-Harassment Committee, EHS, Fire safety, etc.
Check the workers personal file, Maternity file, leaves register, final settlement, monthly salary & OT Sheet etc of business unit.
To act as an effective communication liaison between workers and management and bring the complaints/ grievances of workers to the notice of the management.
To encourage and motivate workers for better performance and make them understand about the rules and regulation of the company.
Listening the problem of workers and counseling them properly.
Ensure all Fire rules & regulation.
Deal with the grievance of workers, individuals as well as collective and take action with the consultation with Compliance Manager.
Sound knowledge of Bangladesh Labour Law-2006, Bangladesh Labour Rules-2015, code of conducts, BSCI, Accord/RSC, GOTS, GRS, OCS, other industrial and environmental laws, different buyer's code of conducts etc.
Extensive knowledge about 1st/3rd party and technical audits.
Ensure and maintain a clean and tidy site.
Over all follow up ethical and social compliance.
Carry out any other jobs as assigned from time to time.
Education Requirements:
MBA/ Masters from any Discipline & PGDPM/ PGDHRM/ LLB
Post-Graduation Diploma in Compliance will be given preference
Additional Qualification:
Age 28 to 35 years
