Job Description of Jr. Officer IT


Job Title:  Jr. Officer, Information Technology 

 

Responsibilities/Duties: 

 Responsible for monitoring and maintaining the computer systems and networks of the 
organization. 
 have good knowledge & solve the problem of desktop operating system (OS) and 
troubleshooting, 
 Manage the factory’s overall IT Infrastructure, Networking and Software functions. 
 Maintain computer systems and make sure that all departments IT related devices are 
functioning properly. 
 Provide technical support and resolve hardware/software problems (pc, laptop, printer, 
barcode scanner, Inventory software, UPS/IPS, etc.) 
 Maintain and configure various Wi-Fi routers, servers, and attendance devices. 
 Check all LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi systems, CCTV Cameras, PABX, IP Telephone and Video 
conferencing systems. 
 Install antivirus and other necessary software on the user’s Desktop/Laptop. 
 Outlook configuration on user Desktop/Laptop/Mobile, Microsoft Teams / One-Drive Support, 
etc. 
 Collect necessary specifications for each department and make sure that their requirements are 
met. 
 Provide training to the employees in using computers and help them understand the 
configuration of the systems. 
 CCTV/DVR/NVR Maintenance and Troubleshooting. 
 Receive complaints and guide the user to solve the problem over the phone/visit. 
 Monitoring data connectivity and Internet services. 
 Maintain the IT security system. 
 Prepare weekly & monthly reports on IT overall system-related incidents to the Head of IT 
 Good Knowledge about fiber optic cable, TTJ box and media converter. 
 Work on different documentation in Microsoft office. 

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Computer Science & Engineering, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Information Technology, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Information Engineering

 

Location/Working Conditions:

Mention company location and may require occasional overtime or weekend work during peak periods.
