Job Title: Assistant Manager/ Deputy Manager Transport, Admin
Responsibilities/Duties:
Oversee the management of the organization's fleet of vehicles.
Ensure that all vehicles are well-maintained, serviced, and meet safety standards.
Keeping records of vehicle-related documents like registration, route permit, tax token, insurance, etc.
Schedule and coordinate regular maintenance and repairs. Monitor and control transportation costs, including fuel, maintenance, and personnel expenses·
Coordinate the other departments & maintain good relationships with local Govt. Agencies.
Supervise and monitor all the drivers’ activities and evaluate their work performance one to one basis.
Preparation of Transport Section budget and related activities.
Prepare duty roster for all the Transport Associates and assign duties as per business requirement.
Plan and optimize transportation routes to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods or transportation of personnel.
Keeps himself aware of the city situation on political or any other natural calamities and consult with Department Head whether a vehicle can be sent out of the premises under the circumstances.
Any other tasks given by The Management as and when required.
