Job Description of Sr. Executive (Compliance)
Job Title: Sr. Executive (Compliance)
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Collaborate with internal divisions to develop and implement compliance policies, procedures, and guidelines aligned with industry regulations, laws, buyer's Code of Conduct (COC), ILO conventions, international standards, and best practices.
- Conduct regular buyer compliance audits, assessments, and risk evaluations to identify areas for improvement and potential compliance issues.
- Implement changes in applicable regulatory laws/rules/COC/policies and adopt best practices to ensure the organization remains compliant and competitive.
- Provide training and education to employees on compliance and occupational health and safety (OHS) matters, ensuring their understanding of the importance of adherence to policies and procedures.
- Assist in the development and implementation of compliance monitoring systems and controls, including developing Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) and conducting daily monitoring.
- Investigate compliance breaches, incidents, and allegations, and recommend corrective actions and preventive measures to address identified issues.
- Prepare and submit reports to the head of sustainability, highlighting compliance performance, trends, and areas requiring attention or improvement.
- Assist in managing relationships with buyers' representatives, external and internal auditors, ensuring effective communication and cooperation.
- Coordinate with labor relations through different committee members, such as the safety committee, participation committee, anti-assessment committee, etc.
- Handle employee grievances and address concerns through different helpline centers as required.
- To conduct internal Audit and report submit to senior management.
- Sound knowledge about Higg FEM & FSLM, SCLP, SEDEX, BSCI, WRAP, GSV/ SCAN and Better works including Accord/RSC.
- Any others task which assigns by management.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Education
- Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Experience
- 5 to 7 years
