Job Description of GM (Compliance)
Job Title: GM (Compliance)
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Adequate knowledge in Bangladesh Labor Law & Rules, ILO Convention, COC of different brand/buyer (EU & USA), CAP reply, Audit Conduct- SA 8000, BSCI, WRAP, SEDEX, ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, OCS, RCS, GRS, PACT, CT-PAT, CP, BEPI, HIGG, etc.
- Well experienced in Sustainability, Environmental Management, Chemical Management, Utility management, Social Compliance, Technical Audit, QMS Audit, ICS Audit, etc.
- Experience in CSR Works and BWB (Better Work Bangladesh) and different types of development projects, working experience under BNBC & NFPA.
- Well experienced in ACCORD & ALLIANCE remediation works.
- Adequate knowledge in OB, OHS housekeeping issues as well as payroll management, recruitment etc.
- Good leadership ability to lead & motivate the subordinates.
- Ensure 100% implementation of buyer's COC, Labor Law 2006 and Labor Rules.
- Capable of maintaining excellent industrial relations between the workers, floor staffs & the top Management of the Company.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Education
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
- Master of Business Administration (MBA)
- Certification Training and experience in seminar, workshop, Symposium etc.
- Trade Course, PGT, Fire Safety Course, Fire Safety and Rescue training must be appreciated.
- PGD in HRM.
- Diploma in Social Compliance (added advantage).
Experience
- At most 15 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):

- The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Factory HR & Compliance Administration, Training & Development, Legal Compliance / Code of Conduct, Organization Development / Process Improvement, HR Database Management.
- Excellent Communication skills in both English and Bengali.
- Able to work under pressure and complete the task within a preset time-frame.
- Excellent inter-personal & communication skills.
- Good team builder, well-organized, poses initiative and detail-oriented.
- Good knowledge in computer operation.
Location/Working Conditions:
Mention company location and may require occasional overtime or weekend work during peak periods.
