Support Upazila Health and Family Planning department in line with Upazila COVID response plan in terms of:. Effectively screening of patients to identify suspected COVID and non-suspected patients and refer suspected patients to appropriate center for PCR test;. Provide support to UHC to manage outpatient and inpatients of the health complex under the leadership of Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer;. Provide technical support to mobile team on:. Preparing monthly workplan plan and reporting plan of mobile team. On how to support homebased treatment and medication to potential suspected patients and advising families on home-based care (isolation and distance support),. Referring risks patients to appropriate facilities for COVID tests, better treatment and management;. Support on community case management;. Enhance capacity of mobile through appropriate training, orientation and hands-on support. Case management support to Upazila Health Complex. Prepare monthly report and submit to project Coordinator in time. Any other support to project activities as required.
Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)
Technical background in WASH /Excellent understanding and experience in delivering WASH is a plus. Adequately aware of government's health system at Upazila and below and aware of the scale.and devastation of COVID-19 across the country. Experience of working closely with government functionaries, local government institutions, private and non-government organizations will get preference. Ability to manage a complex and diverse workload Ability to contribute to develop a proactive team, working collaboratively with colleagues and support as necessary. Computer skills: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, email and web browsing. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Written and verbal skills in both Bengali and English.
