Position: Technical Writer (TW)

Vacancy: 01

Responsibilities:

  • Technical Content Writing.
  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Writing.
  • Service Level Agreements (SLAs) Writing.
  • Requirement Documentation and other product documentation.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.

Additional Qualification:

  • Experience Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of proven working experience in technical writing of product documentation.
  • Basic familiarity with the SDLC and software development.
  • Experience and ability to use a range of visual presentation tools such as MS Excel charts, Tableau, Keynote, Prezi and some analytical & statistical software packages.
  • Job Requirements:
  • Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements.
  • Generate innovative ideas for content and workflow solutions, while working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience.
  • Write easy-to-understand online help and product tutorials.
  • Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities.
  • Create and maintain the information architecture.
  • Independently gather information from subject matter experts to develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation.
  • Participates in presentations and discussions at Technical Data Guidance Conferences, Technical Publications in-process reviews, Technical Publications Verification Conferences and Training Conferences.
  • Meets with subject matter experts in order to ensure that specialized topics are appropriately addressed and discussed.
