Position: Officer - Commercial

  • Candidate must have practical Experience all types export documents for a garments industry (Transferring L/C, commercial invoice, packing list, GSP checking, Payment planning L/C marking)
  • Monthly shipment planning & booking to forwarder.
  • For new supplier p/is, checking for any special terms/clauses that would contradict or that would not be able to comply when shipping. (shipping technicalities, banking technicalities are to be considered here)
  • Review f&t plans, status with merch teams in weekly meeting in line with fty in-put dates. Make alternate plans, revised modes (courier /air as required). Giving directions & decisions on cost effective way of planning/handling (considering the mode, number of docs, handling, fty clearance etc.)
  • Check & approve weekly HK shipment intimation/loading: considering all areas (if the p/is are issued, if the lc/lcs are issued & if the maximum materials are consolidated in optimum level etc)
  • Micro managing/meeting /follow up with HK merch teams & ftys to get the urgent lcs opened.
  • Attending and handling some special / top priority cases where top management requests a close Proforma Invoice, Purchase Order & L/C follow up and ensure the lcs are sent to suppliers as requested to secure the shipments. (very close follow up with trims/fabric/merch & suppliers on such cases).
  • Attending to clear / close the suppliers disputes over shipping docs, vessel etd/etas, shipping routes when the teams cannot solve/close.
  • Resolving issues with sea and air forwarders on img corrections etc... Together with suppliers
  • Heading the settlement/closing of liability / adjustments with ftys.
  • Coordinating with fty commercial/ HK mrch and reconcile data / details of qnty /value and finalize each case.
  • Follow up on utilization of the identified liabilities or buyer settlements.
  • Any other responsibilities assigned by the management

Education Requirements:

Minimum MBA/M. Com/BBA / B.com. (Major in Accounting/ Finance/ Banking) from any reputed University.

Additional Qualification:

  • Skills Required: Analytical Skill, Computer skill, Strong communication skills
  • 3 to 5 Years of experience in a large reputed Industries.
  • The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Commercial, Treasury
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments/ Textile/ Group Company
  • Candidate must have to computer knowledge.
