Responsibilities:

• To develop strategies using various marketing techniques to increase product sales with on time export proceed repatriation. Also to use marketing and visual techniques to ensure customer attractions.
• To support and facilitate development and implementation of marketing plans.
• Should be able to develop business with new market like Japan, Russia, Korea and South Americans countries.
• Should be able to work with Europe, USA corporate buyers.
• To play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative to gear up operational excellence.
• To ensure the Marketing & Merchandising teams fully implement the approved SOP following best practice to manage risk in the project cycle from factory visit through to shipment. Ensuring the teams have adequate resources to efficiently fulfill their objectives with adequate systems and process in place to meet expectations. To manage teams' performance against key targets including cost savings, capacity planning, shipments and operating costs against budget as well as range of operational metrics. (On time delivery plus shipment, buyers score card management inspection pass rate, customer returns and profitability etc.)
• To role play as team Player/Leader of a Marketing & Merchandising Team.
• Overseeing and do costing and pricing of the garment and negotiations with the buyers to reach the final acceptable prices.
• Overseeing the update on production status, sampling, lab dips information being provided by the merchandisers to the buyer.
• Monitoring the status of approval / pre-production/ photo samples/delivery.
• The Candidate must have sound knowledge on all types of knit garment fabrics, trims and accessories.
• To maintain strong relationship with the suppliers, so that any item can be managed in time (Material sourcing capability).
• Before going to the garment production, must in-house all the necessary materials. Ensure on-time material collection to respect the shipment date
• To meet the objectives and targets of the Marketing & Merchandising department.
• Prepare production planning for achieving targeted production and shipping the goods in right time. Work closely with production units to ensure that the customers' requirements are properly interpreted and executed.
• To build constructive customer relationships and team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals. Establish excellent communication channels with stakeholders to identify profit opportunities through direct sourcing and meet their product priorities source a robust supply base when required.
• Must have to strong ability on Supply chain/Backward linkage management
• Must have the ability to understand current market trends and buying psychology.
• Must be creative and have a strong understanding of the products.
• Proper execution of orders according to 'Time and Action Plan' on regular basis to ensure on time shipment with right quality and quantity.
• Follow up with planning/production/commercial team & ensure shipment move on time.
• Should be capable of new business development & promotion with fresh Buyer
• Should be highly motivated and willing to take challenges
• Should have good connection with the buyers.
• Any other assignment given by the top management.

Education Requirements:

• Master in any discipline.
• Graduate in Textile in relevant field will be given preference.

Additional Qualification:

• Age 40 to 45 years
