Position: Officer- Export-Import

Vacancy: Not specific

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor Bank wise negotiation
  • Submit all kinds of documents of LC & SC and collect Bill Number for banks like HSBC, SCB etc.
  • Keep liaison with the concerned authority like AEPZ / Customs / Shipping Agent / C&F / Bank etc.
  • Close follow up with Bank on daily basis to get the bill reference number & maturity date to update Master File
  • Close follow up with Customer Service team for Sales Contract document payment against Bank
  • Prepare weekly list for the Maturity & Payment pending status to BDCC team
  • Work in a team to resolve issues / difficulties related to payment
  • Ensure all data are placed correctly into the Master Export File on daily basis
  • Customer-wise Outstanding Bill preparation & submission to BDCC team & customer
  • Support BDCC & HQ CREDIT TEAM as per their requirement
  • Collect PRC from all Banks for Customs Audit purpose
  • Any other tasks assigned by management / department head

Education Requirements:

  • An ideal candidate should have Honors / Bachelors / Master degree from recognized university in Commerce / Business Studies

Additional Qualification:

  • The ideal applicant should have minimum 01 to 03 (one to three) years of relevant experience in similar industry, particularly in BEPZA
  • The ideal candidate must have thorough knowledge / experience on the following:
  • Good knowledge on BEPZA / Customs Rules and Regulations
  • Experience in maintaining Passbook, Customs Audit and related works in Bond Commissionerate
  • Experience in working with Banks, BGMEA, Customs, Shipping Line, Freight Forwarder and C&F
  • Experience in Payment Collection
  • Experience in the field of Export & Import through L/C, SC & T/T
  • Sound knowledge on Back-to-Back L/C Shipping Documentation
  • The ideal candidate must possess the following qualities:
  • Soft-spoken & Gentle; well conversant in English & Bangla
  • Pro-active, friendly, smart & hard-working
  • Tactical & Patient; Sympathetic & Compassionate
  • Well organized in managing multiple tasks & maintaining deadlines
  • Familiar with MS Office and other software including ERP system
  • Residence near Adamjee EPZ Area will be an added advantage
