Position: Assistant General Manager - Employee Relations

Responsibilities:
Supervise Employee Relation (ER) responsibilities across the organization to ensure all business are managed in compliance with labour law and statutory regulations
Conduct HR Audits to align ER practices with organizational strategy, identify the possible compliance-related risks, and resolve all non-conformity to protect the organization from non- compliance notices
Guide and coach ER team on best employee relations practices and strategies for managing employee grievances and all disciplinary issues in line with Bangladesh Labour Law
Plan, design. and conduct worker and employee training to reduce grievances and violations of company code Of conduct
Oversee the renewal, maintenance and updating of all regulatory licenses and ensure availability of required register as per labor law for all concerned organization
Maintain an effective relationship with government bodies and coordinate with key government officials to ensure that the organization operates within labor compliance in a legal and ethical manner while meeting its business goals
Education Requirements:
Bachelors/ Masters in HRM from reputed university, a law degree will be an added advantage
Additional Qualification:
Experience: 10 -12 years of experience; at least 3/5 years in Manager/Senior Manager position
The post holder will be expected to:
Have excellent oral and written communication skills
Have broad experience in handling legal procedures (filing GD. criminal cases. etc.) and liasion with local administration, police and law enforcing agencies
Have direct exposure in dealing with worker greviance and disciplinary actions
Have the ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections Of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations. ordinances, and policies
Have the ability to work under pressure and to travel extensively to different parts of Bangladesh
