Completes pharmacy operational requirements by organizing and directing technicians' workflow, verifying their preparation and labeling of pharmaceuticals, and verifying order entries, charges, and inspections.
Provides pharmacological information by answering questions and requests of health care professionals and counseling patients on drug therapies.
Complies with state and federal drug laws as regulated by the state board of pharmacy, the drug enforcement administration, and the food and drug administration by monitoring nursing unit inspection.
Maintains records for controlled substances and removes outdated and damaged drugs from the pharmacy inventory.
Supervises the work results of support personnel.
Controls medications by monitoring drug therapies; advising interventions.
Maintains current registration, studies existing and new legislation, anticipates legislation, and advises management on needed actions.
Review and execute physician's prescriptions checking their appropriateness and legality.
Organize the pharmacy in an efficient manner to make the identification of products easier and faster.
Maintain full control over delivering, stocking and labeling medicine and other products and monitor their condition to prevent expiring or deterioration.
Listen carefully to customers to interpret their needs and issues and offer information and advice.
Provide assistance other medical services such as injections, blood pressure/ temperature measurements etc.
Keep records of patient history and of all activities regarding heavy medication.
Keep abreast of advancements in medicine by attending conferences and seminars and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
Bachelor in Pharma from any reputed university.
Additional Qualification:
Age 25 to 35 years
Both males and females are allowed to apply
Candidates must have experience in Model Pharmacy.
Must have Knowledge about Pharmaceutical & Non-Pharmaceutical Product.
Strong Interpersonal skills; must be able to lead, delegate, instruct, counsel, coordinate, and correct.
Well-developed oral and written communication skills; strong listening and negotiation skills. Hands-on experience with the strategic planning process and scheduling would be helpful.
