Position: Deputy Manager, Costing & Budget

Vacancy: Not Specific

Responsibilities:

  • Design effective budget models for departments as well as the organization.
  • Analyze financial information (e.g. revenues, expenditures and cash management) to ensure all operations are within budget.
  • Review budget requests for approval.
  • Forecast future budget needs.
  • Identify variances between actual and budgeted financial results at the end of each reporting period.
  • Suggest spending improvements that increase profits.
  • Ensure department managers meet budget submission deadlines.
  • Design and implement effective budgeting policies and procedures.
  • Help in preparing financial models and feasibility studies by which management can use in their short term and long-term decision.
  • Build a pricing system that depends on both internal figures (cost & -profit) and external figures (competitors and the market).
  • Recommends actions to identify and correct inefficient operation resulting in lower operating cost and improve productivity.
  • Provide financial leadership by supplying plant and corporate management accurate and timely financial data as analysis.
  • Lead the transition from the existing cost environment to a new standard cost system.
  • Gathers historical cost data (materials, labor, depreciation, operating expenses, etc.), to compare budgets with actual expenses.
  • Perform financial analysis and forecast revenue and expenses of projects.
  • Other reporting requirements as advised from time to time.

Education Requirements:

Completed Bachelor and Masters' both in Finance or Accounting and partially done ICMAB

Additional Qualification:

  • Min 5 - 6 years of experience on Costing & budget
  • Preferred Industry: Manufacturing,
  • Mandatory working experience of using SAP software
  • Strong computer proficiency in MS Excel & MS Word
