Job Title: AGM/ DGM, Human Resources
Responsibilities/Duties:
Recruitment and staffing: Managing the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions.
Document management: Managing documentation, including contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
Onboarding and orientation: Ensuring new employees are properly introduced to the organization, its policies, and procedures.
Training and development: Coordinating employee training programs and identifying opportunities for the professional development of factory employees.
Audits and Inspection: GOTS, GRS, RCS, WRAP, BSCI, ICS, SEDEX, OEKO-TEX, LEED, ISO-90001, ISO-14001, and others. Different types of Technical Audits. Special Experience to handle certification PORTAL Like BSCI, WRAP, and others. Audit experience in handling environmental audits.
Performance management: Overseeing the performance appraisal process, providing feedback to employees, and facilitating performance improvement plans if necessary.
Employee relations: Handling employee grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
Compensation and benefits: Administering employee compensation, benefits, and payroll processes.
HR policy development and implementation: Developing, updating, and enforcing HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and alignment with organizational goals.
Office management: Overseeing day-to-day office operations, including facilities management, supplies procurement, and vendor management.
Administrative support: Providing administrative support to executives and staff, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and organizing travel arrangements.
Record keeping: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records related to employees, finances, and other administrative matters.
Office policies and procedures: Developing and implementing office policies and procedures to ensure efficiency, compliance, and a safe working environment.
Legal compliance: Ensuring the organization complies with relevant employment laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Policy compliance: Monitoring and enforcing compliance with internal policies and procedures, including those related to ethics, safety, and security.
Risk management: Identifying potential areas of risk and developing strategies to mitigate them, such as ensuring data security and confidentiality.
Training and awareness: Providing training and raising awareness among employees about compliance obligations and best practices.
Additional Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business (major in HR is an added advantage)
At least 8 years of experience in human resources management including a minimum three years in managerial position
Demonstrated success as an HR generalist supporting employee groups of 200+ employees in a multi office environment.
Demonstrated ability to identify, recommend and implement best practice approaches that deliver rapid, consistent, high-quality HR management and service provision in an emergency environment
Strong collaborator with effective interpersonal and analytical skills who is able to work seamlessly across countries, cultures, and organizational units required
Demonstrated ability to work, manage, and meet competing deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and on deadline, aptitude for problem solving and decision making needed
Superb written and verbal communication skills required. Capable of managing conflict and conflicting views.
Good knowledge of HRIS systems preferred.
Good fluency in English is preferable.
Location/Working Conditions:
